Acrojets Booster Club
Mission
AcroJets Gymnastics Booster Club is a nonprofit booster club formed to promote discipline, sportsmanship, teamwork, and dedication among youth in Western New York; to encourage and motivate such youth to gain leadership qualities, positive attitudes and strength of character; and to provide such youth with opportunities to participate in amateur gymnastics.
What we Do
The Acrojets Booster Club is a nonprofit organization that supports competitive gymnasts. We are a separate entity from Stumpfs Gymnastics Center. Our athletes are selected to competitive teams by coaches at SGC and practice at SGC. However, when the teams compete they are competing under the umbrella of the Acrojets Booster Club. The Club registers gymnasts for competitions, pays the coaches to accompany and coach the teams while at meets as independent contractors, and pays for coaches accommodations and travel.
Fundraising money and team fees support the hiring and paying of coaching expenses. Meet registration fees are paid to Acrojets Booster Club and all athlete meet registration issues are handled by the Board. The Board also manages uniform ordering for the competitive teams, parent communication regarding meets and other events, and fundraising to offset expenses for families. Acrojets Booster Club is run by a volunteer executive board.
